How fabulous does it look? What a great home for my cards!

2 Ways With Purple Pumpkin Spotty Buttons.

For those of you who don't already know Purple Pumpkin, where ya bin??? As soon as you've finished checking out my cards (not before, you hear) get yourselves over there to have a look. There is heaps of great eye candy from the DT and a sale of handmade embellishments, like the buttons you are about to see, on a regular basis.

Now, I said "2" ways with spotty buttons and here is the first. I chose this Bo Bunny PP specifically to use with the spotty buttons but when I put them together the buttons were just to bright. The white spots were very well...ummm...white! What to do? What to do? Reach for the antiquing spritz and dauber of course!

A teeny spray on the dauber, a rub on scrap paper to remove most of it again, making the dauber nearly dry, and then a rub on the buttons. Voila!

The little orange doily, Purple Pumpkin again, also got a spritz of the antiquing spray.

Here's the inside of the card also. I always forget to include a photo of the inside but I'm going to try really hard to remember from now on.

OK, that was one way. The next is soooo easy.

Did you spot it?? Excuse the pun.......lol.....

Top of the class if you thought they were unaltered! Yep, spotty buttons in their "pure" form. Bright, bright, bright and so exactly JUST RIGHT for this fun card.

And look! All the way to the end of the post I hadn't forgotten to include the inside!

Just one more thing before you pop over to Purple Pumpkin.

I've been very remiss about giving you a list of supplies with my posts so from now on I'm going to list what I use at the end of each post and if I ever have time I'll try and edit previous posts as well.

OK, you can go and have a look at Purple Pumkin now.

Happy papercrafting!

Kaisercraft Chanteuse And Some Fabulous Chipboard.

I loved this collection the minute I laid eyes on it. It's right up my alley. Muted colours, lots to fussy cut and a slightly whimsical feel. Yummo right? Add to it some chipboard, bling and Prima and voila!

Gorgeous tree! Gotta get me another one of these!

The next flourish is from my stash and I really wish I could remember who's it is. I think it was a packet of 3 and I only have one left now.

And lastly.

Another gorgeous Scrapmatts CB5057 Floral Design 03 with little Glossy Accented berries hanging from it.

Kaisercraft Lullaby

I picked up a Kaisercraft Lullaby 6 x 6 paper pad the other day, not sure if I would really like the paper or not. As it turns out it I really did like it.

A pigeon pair.

And another pigeon pair!

And for this one I used the fabulous Scrapmatts CB5057 Floral Design 03.

You can't see it here, but I inked it in pink and Glimmer Misted it with Old Lace.

A Couple More Mother's Day Cards.

Not long until Mother's Day in Australia so that means I've been busy making cards to celebrate the ultimate woman in our lives.
(Note to self: must not forget my own mother!)

For the first one I've inked a Kaisercraft wood bird to match the Cosmo Cricket Ever After papers.

I'm really not sure I should have put the pearl on the bird's eye. I think it makes it look a touch freaky. I might just take it off I think!

Yes! I think I will!

The next one was an easy one using the reverse of the papers I used for the bird one. Just lots of layers and a bow.

You can see the sketch for this one over at Unique Cardz Sketches.

Have a great weekend!

Kaisercraft Class of '87.

When I first saw this paper range I loved it! Turns out though, that I found it really hard to work with. I'm not sure why but I just wasn't inspired once I got it home. I did manage to make three cards anyway and here they are.

This one wasn't to bad.

The next two I struggled with.

I think, maybe, it was the colour. I find that I have a real hard time working with bright colours.

Arrhhh! Bad Photos.

My entry in the 2 Sisters Challenge - No designer paper.

Such a nice card, such a bad photo!
Some of you may know I haven't had a computer for a week, yes a WEEK!! By the time I uploaded these photos from the camera, which by the way looked perfectly fine on the camera, the card had been packed up and sent off to my lovely friend. So no opportunity to retake a better photo. Oh well, my friend and I know how nice and sparkly it really is.

As you have no doubt guessed it's a wedding card, with sparkly entwined hearts, which are Kaisercraft wood flourish hearts, Modge Podged and glittered.

And my new, new favourite bow to do.

Again, the detail is really hard to see but the card was truly beautiful!

Moving on......

I want to tell you about a lovely new blog by Liz Weber. Some of you may already know Liz from her blog I Love Creating Cards. Well she has combined her cardmaking love with her love of coordinating card kits and come up with Make Your Own Cards. Please visit and have a look at her very first Merry Christmas card kit!!

Ho Ho Ho, Another Christmas Card.

This time I have incorporated two of my favourite designers. Kaisercraft, from their 'Tis the Season 6" Paper Pad and a Graphic 45 image from their Christmas Past Deluxe Collection.

And here is another of those Prima flowers I have rediscovered.

This time I added glitter to the petals and I also glittered the snow line on the image and mounted it with foam tape.

And one more close up, just because!

You can see in this one that I have inked the edges of the Kaisercraft paper flowers.

I'm entering it in the 2 Sisters Challenge - Anything Goes.

Free As A Bird And A Couple Of Others.

Wouldn't this make a great card for someone who is retiring . I found it in my stash of cards, along with a couple of others I've never posted. For this one and the next one I've used Kaisercraft Loire Valley papers and a little bit of bling.

The next one is one of the very first cards I ever made, using an Anna Griffin paper and a Prima flower, I think.

One of my favourite, simple cards.

Forgotten Papers.

Hi Everyone.

When I was looking for some paper to make the card for my Mum's birthday that I almost, yes only almost, forgot. (Remember? This one here). I came across a little stash of forgotten Kaisercraft papers. I've left them on my desk so they don't get forgotten again. Amongst them were these papers from their Blushed collection and this afternoon I whipped up a couple of quick cards.

A closeup of the lollypop flower. I'm sure that everyone knows how to make these but if you don't there's a little tutorial over at Scrap A Little.

And another one using the reverse of the papers above.

Have a great weekend, or whatever's left of it. :)

A Very Quick Card.

OMG! I nearly forgot my mum's birthday!

I have my son's birthday today, the big 18, an adult now and my daughters birthday on Tuesday. Sandwiched in between is my mum on Monday. I've been so concentrated on my kids birthdays that I almost forgot Mum! I even rang her to ask if she could watch the girls while I was at the dentist tomorrow and still didn't twig. Of course Mum, being Mum, didn't didn't say anything.

So I whipped up a card this afternoon and it'll be a mad dash to the shops in the morning before the dentist.

1 sheet of Kaisercraft "Birdsong", a couple of rhinestones and a paper flower. Phew! Done!
