It's Been So Long........

since I've posted a card! I always have such GRAND plans for the evenings and weekends and it never, ever works out that way. Life just keeps getting in the way of my cardmaking! It doesn't help that I'm the sort of cardmaker that doesn't just stick and go. I put it together (without the glue), take it apart, put it together...you get the drift. It takes me ages to make one card and even then it never looks like the one in my mind!

Well, here it is. A Christmas card with a Purple Pumpkin button taking pride of place on my little red rosette (1/2 a rosette actually because I couldn't quite get it right). The image is from the Graphic 45 Christmas past Deluxe Collection and the PP is from the Kaisercraft 'Tis The Season 6' x 6' paper pad.

A closeup of the Purple Pumpkin button.

Happy papercrafting everyone.

Ho Ho Ho, Another Christmas Card.

This time I have incorporated two of my favourite designers. Kaisercraft, from their 'Tis the Season 6" Paper Pad and a Graphic 45 image from their Christmas Past Deluxe Collection.

And here is another of those Prima flowers I have rediscovered.

This time I added glitter to the petals and I also glittered the snow line on the image and mounted it with foam tape.

And one more close up, just because!

You can see in this one that I have inked the edges of the Kaisercraft paper flowers.

I'm entering it in the 2 Sisters Challenge - Anything Goes.

Christmas In July.

Well it's all over the cardmaking blogasphere! Christmas in July! If you're like me it might just give you the push you need to get started on Chrissy cards. I bet, though, I still leave most of it until the last minute!

Well, this is my first Christmas card for 2010 and I'm entering it in the following challenges:

Again I have used Graphic 45 papers. This time from their Christmas Past collection. They have re-released it this year and it is bigger and better than ever!

I love the masculine colours of navy and gold. I'm getting into the swing of "man" cards but i must say it's been hard keeping away from flowers, lace, bling etc.
